Student Liaison

Are you a student in a Speech-Language, OT, Audiology or similar field? Want to help grow Reaching Stars and your resume at the same time? The Reaching Stars Board is happy to welcome a graduate student to sit on our board as liaison for 1 to 2 semesters at a time. The role would be largely what they make it, however, a certain level of outreach to and communication with other students would be expected. We are happy to consider requirements for this to be an internship position, if applicable.
For the time-being this position does need to be local to Northern Utah or able to commute.

Love graphic design? Or perhaps you love interacting on social media? Maybe both! We’d love your help maintaining our presence out there - you may have noticed we are kind of quiet so far.

Donations-in-Kind

If you’ve ever run a company, you know that your marketing can make or break you. It can also break your budget, and for a young charity like Reaching Stars, we want to withhold as much of the budget as possible to go towards actual grants. So a gift of creative services would go a long, long way! This could be a one-time gig, like photography at one of our events such as the annual All Systems Are Go Family Fun Run in September, or the donation of shirts for fundraising, or this could be an ongoing partnership. Either way, we would treat this as a Donation-in-Kind so your fees can be tax deductible, and of course include you as one of our community partners on our website and other advertising.

Photography and Screen Printing are just examples. If you have a skill or service you feel could be of benefit to Reaching Stars, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
